WHAT IS THE
HAPPY RACE?
OUR SUMMER MISSION.

The Happy Race is a charitable organization passionate about providing mental health relief in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The past year of uncertain times has led to a significant decline in mental health across Canada. Levels of depression and anxiety have been at an all time high, and after only six months of the pandemic, 1 in 10 Canadians reported thoughts of suicide and self harm.

The Happy Race Has Two Aims:
1) We hope to encourage people of all ages across Canada to get physically active, and

2) We hope to raise our target goal of $5000 to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
The Happy Race will host a series of virtual runs through the app Strava. These races can be done by anyone- no matter where you live! Various prizes will be included to incentivize Canadians to leave the house and get active. For more information on our events and how YOU can make a difference this summer, go to the How To Participate page.
We hope that no matter where you are, you participate in The Happy Race this summer. Better times are coming, and partaking in The Happy Race is our first step to turning the page into a new chapter.
